Dr. Zahm was born and raised in nearby Lancaster County. He attended Hempfield High School where he graduated in 2001. From there, Dr. Zahm attended Ohio Wesleyan University his freshman year of college where he was a member of the men's soccer team.
After his time at Ohio Wesleyan, Dr. Zahm decided to pursue dentistry as a career and transferred to The Ohio State University for the continuation of his undergraduate coursework. Dr. Zahm then attended Temple University School of Dentistry and attained his DMD in May of 2009.
Dr. Zahm began his professional career as an associate in Lancaster, PA, where he practiced for four years. During his time in Lancaster, Dr. Zahm became a member of Manheim Rotary International. It was shortly after he had met Dr. Hoffman that he knew he wanted Brockie Dental to be his permanent home for dental care.
Dr. Zahm holds current memberships in the American Dental Association and the local Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr Zahm also holds a current Membership with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is trained to treat patients for Sleeping Disorders related to Sleep Apnea and Snoring. In 2014 Dr. Zahm completed hands on training Coursework with the Philadelphia Implant Continuum to learn Surgical techniques for Dental Implant Placement.
Dr. Zahm is very excited to be a part of the great team at Brockie Dental and looks forward to being able to contribute not only his knowledge of dentistry, but to lend his hand in the local community as well.
Dr Zahm has joined the Rotary Club of York in March of 2015 and is currently serving as a Member of The Board of Directors of Olivia’s House.
When Dr Zahm is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Zahm and his wife Christi have 3 dogs and recently welcomed Twins to their family. Mazie and Noah Zahm were born on July 6 2014.
Dr. Zahm is a member of the Crown Council who participates in "Smiles For Life". The project uses all money raised through teeth whitening and donates it to children's charities. Find out more: http://www.smilesforlife.org/
